This week in Science: We have been exploring the topic of biodiversity and its importance for species survival.  Students are currently exploring their endangered species of choice and solutions to help save the species.

This week in Math: We are continuing in our exploration of classifying 2-D shapes and learning how to measure angles.

Science - we are wrapping up the electricity unit and have been discussing the benefits and impacts of  our use of electricity in different ways.  After the break, we will be going into the chemistry unit! Math:  Students are working on understanding fractions and performing operations with fractions, as well as solving everyday problems that involve fractions. Students are encouraged to continue to do Mathletics practice of these concepts.  When we get back, we will be reviewing improper and mixed fractions to start off. Have a great break!
