Students are currently practicing labeling circles and calculating circumference on Mathletics.  Please ensure that you are practicing at home and that you reattempt until you get 60% on each assignment.

students are working on their carpet project that brings together knowledge of perimeter, area, and circumference knowledge.  Students are working on it in class with support.  If you are not going to be in class, please ensure you finish it at home.

Science - we are wrapping up the electricity unit and have been discussing the benefits and impacts of  our use of electricity in different ways.  After the break, we will be going into the chemistry unit! Math:  Students are working on understanding fractions and performing operations with fractions, as well as solving everyday problems that involve fractions. Students are encouraged to continue to do Mathletics practice of these concepts.  When we get back, we will be reviewing improper and mixed fractions to start off. Have a great break!
